From it’s completion on May 1st, 1931 until the construction of the former World Trade Center in 1973, the 102 story Empire State Building stood as the world’s tallest building. Soaring 1454 feet into the air, this magnificent Art Deco Skyscraper has attracted over 117 million visitors to its world famous observation deck.
